We have adopted a Partnership-approach wherein we partner with a leading NGO that receives funding from the Corporate Social Investment arms of leading conglomerates and work closely with the Departments of Education to identify and select schools that require support, and thus create a sustainable impact.
Over the past five years, we have built competence and expertise in managing implementation of three to five-year donor-funded projects that sponsor under-privileged schools across all provinces in South Africa. The projects have very clear objectives and aim to improve learner performance (e.g. matric results) in Mathematics and Sciences. The intervention is in the form of training of educators, working with learners in Mathematics and Sciences and providing ICT educational materials in the form of Edukite curriculum software.
There is face-to-face mentorship and training of educators and hands-on engagement with the realities of the classroom and the school. There is strong focus on monitoring and evaluation of performance to produce results and create a long-term, sustainable impact on performance. Click here to read our Success Stories
